Senior Legal Counsel

Our client, a leading UK Investment Bank, is consistently ranked in the top 25 FTSE 100 companies by market capitalisation. Headquartered in Singapore and London, it employs over 12,000 people in 60 countries across eight regions and provides corporate and institutional clients with trade finance, cash management, securities services, foreign exchange and risk management, capital raising and corporate finance solutions. For this senior role, you will provide legal support on a transactional basis to various Wholesale Bank Business Units in N.E. Asia including Rates and FX, Equity Derivatives, Structured Credit, Capital Markets, Corporate Finance, Cash, Trade and Lending

You will need to have:

Admission as lawyer from a common law jurisdiction

Significant experience in a corporate securities practice at a leading

international law firm

Experience in debt capital markets (desirable)

Experience in working in emerging financial markets (desirable)

As this role is not a pure “black‐letter‐law” role, it provides an opportunity for the right person to transition into a more commercial and operational role within one of the world’s leading financial institutions.
