Corporate Partner Shanghai

Our client is one of the world's leading law firms, with offices in Europe, Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai and Guangzhou. Due to rapid expansion it requires a corporate partner to drive growth in Shanghai.

The ideal candidate is a lawyer currently working in China who is either

a partner at a smaller foreign firm seeking a larger business platform

a senior associate at a large international firm who is seeking a partnership role

a PRC lawyer currently working at a national firm who is seeking higher quality international clients.

The successful candidate requires:

admission to practice in a common law jurisdiction or the PRC

fluency in verbal and written English and verbal Putonghua

significant experience in either China related mergers & acquisitions, FDI, private equity or real estate

significant client following or the potential to grow a sizeable practice within a realistic period of time
